I come from a mining community, though the pits were dying as I grew up, so this story touches something deep in me.  Fifty years, and they are still remembered.

I can't watch the videos because I'll cry through them. Springhill is only a few hours drive from here and I've heard about it all my life. One of our good friends lost his father in that cave-in 50 years ago.
