Poetry month day 18

I said to downcast eyes-
Look up; accept surprise
Which waits, all welcomings.
I said to shuttered ears-
Heed how earth music nears
On wonder's wind-swept strings.

Unquesting heart I told
To be made manifold
Through love's resurgent will.
I said to fitful mind-
Put discontents behind;
Be silent and grow still.
