Poetry Challenge

Read last night from the collected poems of R S Thomas:
A Peasant
Night and Morning
The Cry of Elisha after Elijah
Song for Gwydion

I hadn't read R S Thomas since I was a teenager. I remember his poems as being rather grim and stark, but I am finding a certain beauty in them. More comment as I work my way through them.
