For artspark Artspark #19 - write a prayer

Mother, when I fear you are silent
Help me to hear you in the voices of my friends.
Lady, when I feel empty
Help me to know myself filled with you.
You are always here, and part of all things.
You are closer than my own skin.
You know my fears and my hopes,
My joys and my darknesses.
While I live, help me to know you
In all your forms and faces
And after, let me return to you
And know that we were never, in truth, apart.
