Who knows where the time goes?

Decidedly gloomy today, not helped by getting up in the dark and knowing I'll be going home in the dark. And thoughts of mortality. When I got in to work yesterday, I heard that one of the creche workers, someone I've known for years and liked, had died suddenly over Christmas - she was ten years younger than me. And it's suddenly very scary. All the things I haven't done or said that I want to, need to, should do while I still can.
